Symptomes and treatement of Acute gastro enteritis 
AGE is an infectious disease that is caused by bacterial or viral infection of the intestine to produce irritation and inflammation of the epithelial lining of the gut and cause diarrhea with passing loose stool mostly offensive odour and change in stool color, its associated with symptomes of generalized fatigue, hedache, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and slight increase in body temperature as a result of electrolyte loss in the stool. its primarly treated with Oral rehydration saline twice daily, Cefadroxil 500 mg tab twice daily and Paracetamol 1000 mg tab as required, Consult your treating family doctor if symptomes perisited 
Investigations 
After proper physical exam, CBC to detect infection, stool analysis for parasite detection, Electolytes should be assessed K, Na, Cl, Ca 
Causes
